The unprecedented situation of the Covid-19 pandemic left each and every one of us scrambling for resources, paying all sorts of charges to acquire the essentials. Imagine the plight of those who don’t even have the privilege to afford these things, let alone hunt for them. Our hearts go out to those who have suffered in this unimaginable calamity.
Due to the recent outbreak of Covid-19 in India that came as a second wave of the disease, many sections of the society suffered in many different ways. Just 100 stepped up once again to fulfill this immediate requirement by arranging for various services that helped people, especially the poor.
An initiative that was the need of the hour, this project aimed at helping covid-positive patients with the option for travelling to medical centres for check-ups or treatments by autos. The auto drivers were well equipped with N95 masks, sanitizers, and face shields.
In order to help covid patients and their families cope with food requirements during those times, Just 100 initiated delivering free, hygienic, healthy tiffin right at the patients’ doorsteps.
In collaboration with Sanjeevani Healthcare Centre, Just 100 initiated reduced-cost treatments for covid-positive patients with a low-income background.
The frontline workers have been on their feet at all hours, just helping patients recover. As a way of showing gratitude to them on behalf of the entire community, Just 100 distributed grocery staples to Grade 4 workers of Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad.
With a rampant demand of oxygen cylinders and concentrators creating an alarming shortage in the market, Just 100 donated oxygen concentrators to the needy to eases the burden on the lungs and helped save lives.
